Lexus, luxury vehicle division of Toyota, has been officially unveiled the Lexus RC F Coupe at the Detroit Motor Show 2014. As the name suggests, it is a Coupe and it’s supposed to go head to head with the new BMW M4 also displayed at the same show.
The RC F Coupe sports Lexus’ trademark spindle grille. Lexus unveiled RC Coupe at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show. There have been significant changes to the body including wider front and rear wings, a raised bonnet, larger air intakes and outlets in front. The ca has the active rear wing that automatically deploys at 80 km/h and retracts when the speeds goes down 40 km/h. The F performance model, based on the RC coupe, gets its roar from more than 450 horsepower and more than 383 pound-feet of torque all courtesy of an all-new 5.0-liter 32-valve V8 engine. The RC F will be limited to a top speed of 270 km/h.
